On the northern (eastern side) concrete parapet is the SN 3071 marker; but the Dated plaque is on the other end of the bridge.
The Dated plaque is on the southern end of the bridge over the Tambo River, on the western side of the road, on a rectangular 'prism' of a concrete parapet that is holding the larger metal tubular 'guard-rail' pipe that is held between further concrete parapets that occur over the length of the bridge. The "W"-shaped Arma-guard railing is bolted to the parapets, and the Plaque is 'hiding' down level with the Arma-guard.
Parking, a little southeast of the bridge; particularly for when travelling 'south'. It is also directly opposite the Angus McMillan memorial Cairn.
[I had parked up near a 'mile-marker' north of the bridge, and walked back to take my photos.]
