EN: The source of the Gretzenbach is located on the edge of the forest on the border between Gretzenbach and Safenwil. The flows over a length of about five kilometers in various bows, but mostly roughly towards the north and remains on its entire length on the municipal area of Gretzenbach.
Aare is one of the main rivers of Switzerland and the longest that flows entirely within the country. It has a total length of 295 kilometers from its source in the Bernese Alps until it joins the Rhine near Koblenz. It has a drainage area of 17,779 km2, nearly half of Switzerland.
The confluence is located in the north of Gretzenbach between the agricultural area and a park. A footpath leads along the Aare and over the confluence. The coordinates are on the bridge.
DE: Die Quelle des Gretzenbachs befindet sich am Waldrand an der Grenze zwischen Gretzenbach und Safenwil. Der Bach fliesst auf einer Länge von rund fünf Kilometern in verschiedenen Schleifen, aber meist ungefähr in Richtung Norden und bleibt auf seiner ganzen Länge im Gemeidegebiet von Gretzenbach.
