The tenders can be supplied in a number of colours and this yellow one was probably inspired by the fact that in 2014 a stage of the Tour de France was held in the UK and started in nearby Leeds. This caused great excitement throughout Yorkshire and many things were painted in the colours of the jerseys worn by the race leaders. In this case the polka dot jersey colours denote the best climber, defined by the rider who accumulates the most points cresting hills and mountains at the front of the race.
