The Puritan Brick Plant opened in 1909, and was the largest of its kind in southeastern Ohio.

At least 3 stacks remain, as well as a few building shells, as well as some foundations and misc. bricks scattered about the land.

The area is privately-owned. Any visits should be conducted from public right-of-ways. The church across the highway at 39-09.523 82-29.358 is a good spot.
