The community building is rectangular (138 x 75 ft.). It was constructed in 1939 using lightly tooled and uncoursed native sand stone. The front section facing east onto Main Street is two-story, with a gabled roof covered with red Spanish tile. There are eight red-tiled dormers on this section. The very unusual entrance is recessed under a clipped triangular stone arch at the roof line, and a pointed arch opening accessing the entrance. There are three metal and glazed doors with one narrow sidelight. The large arch above the doors is covered with wood paneling. The windows on the facade are single, with concrete sills.

To the rear of this two-story section, is a one-story auditorium with a barrel roof. There are six window openings on both and north and south walls which have been filled with similar sand stone. This auditorium has hosted many concerts, dances, wrestling matches and other types of entertainment over the years. The building is currently occupied by the American Legion.
