The map. that forms part of a tall pillar, has been erected by the London Borough of Havering.
The map has four distinct parts:
The top part, with an orange background, has a blue arrow pointing upwards to indicate that the map is orientated head-up, ie, what is above the "you are here" point is ahead of the viewer.
The next section down has a schematic representation, on a blue background, of the area indicating walking routes, indicated by dotted orange lines, to the local shopping areas. This also shows a "you are here" position.
The third panel down, the detailed map of the area, also has a blue background. This shows the immediate area, in a schematic form with roads and shopping areas named. Beneath this map is a legend indicating what the icons on the map indicate. The "you are here" indication is an orange dot with the words "you are here" in blue in an orange filled box. They show:
