In Pekin, across from the Tazewell County Courthouse, is the Masonic Temple building, built in 1931.
The building is located on Elizabeth Street, on the south side of the road, near the intersection with S Capitol Street.
The building is a three-story, brick-face structure, with sandstone at the base and around the door. The cornerstone is at the left corner (when facing the front), close to the ground. The text on the stone is as follows:

Grandmaster"
The building is occupied by Empire Lodge #126.
