Breathtaking - the modern youth hostel Burg Lichtenberg is located in one of the largest Burganlagen in Germany. It offers a wide view over the green Kuseler Bergland. In recent years many parts of the castle have been rebuilt. In addition to the Musikantenland Museum in the Zehntscheune, the Pfalzmuseum für Naturkunde and the Urweltmuseum GEOSKOP are located on the castle grounds.
