This pub sign shows a horse drawn cart, probably, a dray delivering beer, stood outside the pub with its former name.

Although the pub is now called The Albion, it used to be known as the Albion Inn.

Albion is an old word for the island of Britain. Some believe this derives from the Latin 'Albus' or 'White.' and the term probably arose from the whiteness of the cliffs on Britain's southern coast.

The pub serves foo, has a weekly quiz night, Karaoke on the last Friday of the month, and periodically live entertainment with a band and magician.
