Jason Pawley is a local Oklahoma City native. His paintings and murals grace many public places in town. In 2013, he opened Tall Hill Creative, an art gallery and studio at 3421 N. Villa.
This mural is painted on one of the metal overhead doors of this vintage service station. Using mostly green and yellow, it shows a fox sitting in a field of high grass, with dark mountains in the background.
What we found interesting, which brought a smile to our face, were little "perks" from the artist throughout the painting. We saw three smiley faces in the mountains, and down on the right hand corner, the word Sly (as in Sly as a Fox) painted to look like the blades of grass. I'm sure we missed others - perhaps you can find some additional messages from the artist.
