EN: This stone cross stands at the crossroads in the south of Mühlebach, where the road from Ernen branches off.
The cross is about two and a half meters high and has very short side arms and a massive pedestal. It has no Jesus figure, only the head of the crucified Jesus. It has no inscriptions and is not dated. Since it differs so strongly from the old traditional wayside crosses of this area, it must be quite recent.
DE: Dieses Steinkreuz steht an der Kreuzung im Süden von Mühlebach, wo die Strasse von Ernen sich verzweigt.
Das Kreuz ist etwa zweieinhalb Meter hoch und hat sehr kurze Seitenarme und einen massiven Sockel. Es hat keine Jesus-Figur, sondern nur den Kopf des gekreuzigten Jesus. Es trägt keine Beschriftungen und ist nicht datiert. Da es sich so stark von den tradtionellen alten Wegkreuzen dieser Gegend unterscheidet, kann es noch nicht sehr alt sein.
