EN: The train station Fürgangen-Bellwald is also also the bottom station of the aerial liftt, which leads from Fürgangen up to Bellwald. The building consists of two parts with gabled roofs of different heights. The exterior walls are wood, but I guess this is a cladding over conventional brick or concrete.
Fürgangen is a small hamlet, belonging to Bellwald, which lies on the mountain. The aerial lift to Bellwald was opened in 1956, the bottom station is in an annex of the railway station, which exists since 1915.
The cable car has two gondolas with a capacity of eight people each, it crosses an elevation difference of 360 meters in a journey time of six minutes. The route is 1438 meters long. Until 1969 there was no road to Bellwald, which was passable for motor vehicles.
DE: Der Bahnhof Fürgangen-Bellwald ist gleichzeitig auch die Talstation der Luftseilbahn, die von Fürgangen im Tal nach Bellwald führt. Das Gebäude besteht aus zwei aneinander gebauten Teilen mit verschieden hohen Giebeldächern. Die Aussenwände sind aus Holz, aber ich vermute, das ist eine Verkleidung über Backstein oder Beton.
Fürgangen ist ein kleiner Weiler, der zu Bellwald gehört, das sich auf dem Berg befindet. Die Luftseilbahn nach Bellwald wurde 1956 eröffnet, die Talstation befindet sich in einem Anbau des Bahnhofes, der seit 1915 existiert.
Die Luftseilbahn hat zwei Gondeln mit eine Kapazität von je acht Personen und überwindet eine Höhendifferenz von 360 Metern in einer Fahrzeit von sechs Minuten. Die Strecke ist 1438 Meter lang. Bis 1969 gab es keine Strasse nach Bellwald, die für Motorfahrzeuge passierbar war.
