Long Description:
At the time the major shopping street of St. Helier was being made traffic free, and the road was repaved. As part of this regeneration scheme a number of public sculptures were erected, including this one.

One of the musicians is playing an accordion, one a banjo, and one a fiddle.

There is a plaque at the base of the statue.
