Village rural coincé entre la communauté d'agglomération de Saint-Omer et la communauté de communes du pays de Lumbres, collectivité dont elle fait partie, Zudausques vit sa ruralité sans complexe. Bien au contraire, elle défend son statut.
Le point le plus haut de la commune est sur le hameau d'Adsoit.
Zudausques est très bien située puisqu'elle se trouve à une dizaine de minutes du centre-ville de Saint-Omer, à cinq minutes de la commune de Lumbres ainsi qu'à cinq minutes de l'échangeur de l'autoroute A26 et des grands axes en direction de Boulogne, Calais, Dunkerque."
