Diese große Kompass-Rose befindet sich am Utkiek in Vegesack, einem beliebten Ausflugspunkt mit toller Gastronomie. "Utkiek" ist plattdeutsch und heißt Ausblick. Der "Utkiek" von hier ist besonders schön.
Die Kompass-Rose ist aus gegossenen Beton-Teilen und gesetzten Basaltsteinen verschiedener Farben gestaltet.
In den Beton-Segmenten sind bekannte Städte aller Welt mit Entfernungen in Kilometern aufgeführt. Am besten man schaut sich die Fotos an, noch besser ist nur ein Besuch dieses schönen Ortes.
Über den Gestalter und das Jahr des Ursprungs ist hier bisher nichts bekannt.
This large compass rose is located at the Utkiek, a popular destination place of excursion with great pubs an restaurants. The word "Utkiek" is Low-German and means "(splendid) view". The "Utkiek" from here is very nice.
The compass rose is made of poured concrete and basalt stones of different colors. In the concrete surface are the names of well known cities of this planet and their distance from here. You can look at the pictures or better visit the "Utkiek".
