In Boston, within the Seaport District, is the Seaport Hotel and World Trade Center.
The complex is located to the north of the Boston Convention Center. It is along Seaport Blvd, where World Trade Center Avenue crosses over.
The convention center portion is in a rectangular building on a pier jutting out into the Boston Inner Harbor. World Trade Center Avenue is the main way into the convention center. The first thing you encounter after passing the hotel is the main arch. After that the access is lined with banners featuring flags. After that is the entrance.
The facility has several ballrooms that can be sectioned off into smaller rooms on two floors. At the bottom is a large room that could be used for large functions.
At the time of visit, I attended the Free and Open Source Software For Geography Conference in 2017.
