This moderately large bell hangs about head height, on a metal pipe frame in front of the Sale Fire Brigade.

The bell is now hung by U-bolts, without a clapper, on a light green painted pipe frame, out the front of the Sale Volunteer Fire Brigade [CFA] on Raymond Street. I would estimate that the flanged part of the bronze bell is about 40 cm in diameter.
Found a cast inscription on the bell: "Horsfield, Bendigo, 1905"
