Several regional railroads use this Baltimore through truss bridge across Lake Eufaula.
This elegant truss bridge was built around the turn of the century across the Chattahoochee River.
When the Walter F. George dam was built across the Chattahoochee in 1962, this railroad bridge spanned Lake Eufaula.
The bridge is still intact, and serving the needs of the smaller class II and III railroads that operate in this busy agricultural area of southeastern Alabama and Western Georgia.
