EN: This outdoor altar is located on a hiking trail north of Simplon Dorf. It consists of natural stones and is covered with slate. The grid in front of the niche has a cross-shaped cavity and the year 1982 above. Inside is a wooden statue of Joseph with Jesus as a child in his arm and a saw in the other hand.
DE: Dieses Bildhäuschen steht an einem Wanderweg nördlich von Simplon Dorf. Es besteht aus Natursteinen und ist mit Schiefer gedeckt. Das Gitter vor der Nische hat eine kreuzförmige Aussparung und das Jahr 1982 darüber. Im Innern befindet sich eine Holzstatue von Josef mit Jesus als Kind im Arm und eine Säge in der anderen Hand.
