The Nashua Public Library has been providing educational, informational and recreational service for the Nashua community since it opened in 1970. The library, which is located near the center of town, sits adjacent to the Nashua River. In addition to its large collection of books, magazines, newspapers, and other reference material, the library houses a theater, several large meeting rooms, and a large media center.
