The protective hut Katzley is located on an offshore rocky ridge high above the River Ahr. The hut is to be reached about a mountain path.
The hexagonal shelter disposes of a half-high balustrade and is open to all sides in the upper area.
From the hut one has nice view to the vineyards in the north and the city of Bad Neuenahr/Ahrweiler in the east. Also the Siebengebirge is to be recognised on the horizon.
