The Capitol Oyster Bar is located at 617 Shady Street in Montgomery, along the Alabama River. To get there you have to drive over dark creepy lonely roads, several sets of active and inactive railroad tracks, and down a street that looks like its leading to a great place to hide a body.
BUT -- if you make the trip, expect to be greeted with exceptional food, friendly service and fresh-shucked oysters.
