DE: Mai 2010: Die freiwillige Feuerwehr Dierdorf begeht ihr 125 jähriges Jubiläum. Hierfür wurde auch ein langer Traum verwirklicht und das “kleine Feuerwehrmuseum Dierdorf” im Eulenturm eingerichtet.
Einer der Initiatoren war Horst Schmidt, 46 Jahre lang Feuerwehrmann (darunter bis zu seiner Pensionierung "Verbandsgemeindewehrleiter"). Er war maßgeblich daran beteiligt, Originalteile und Ausrüstungsgegenstände der Dierdorfer Feuerwehr zusammen zu tragen – darunter die erste motorbetriebene Löschspritze von 1934.
EN: May 2010: The voluntary fire brigade Dierdorf celebrates its 125th anniversary. For this a long dream was realized and the "small fire-brigade museum Dierdorf" was set up in the Eulenturm.
One of the initiators was Horst Schmidt, a firefighter for 46 years (including his retirement as a "Union Commander"). He was instrumental in bringing together the original parts and equipment of the Dierdorfer fire brigade - including the first motor-driven fire extinguisher of 1934.
