• a statue more than 2 m high where you see a female figure symbolizing the homeland, holding a soldier mortally wounded and now a flag.

The place is public and can be accessed at all hours, all year round.

Note to non-francophones. The "Children of Digne who died for France" does not mean that the inhabitants sent the children to fight in their place or that minors were executed by the occupant. This memorial is a military memorial but this formula "to the children of ..." followed by the name of the city means that they were born in the city.
