FR La route nationale 85, ou RN 85, est une route nationale française reliant en 2015 Le Pont-de-Claix sur l'autoroute A480 à La Saulce via Gap et Aubignosc à Barrême via Digne-les-Bains.

Entre Grenoble et Vallauris, elle suit une partie du trajet qu'emprunta Napoléon Ier à son retour de l'île d'Elbe, au début des Cent-Jours.

En règle générale, c'est un aigle (symbole de Napoléon) en marbre, en métal, en pierre, signale que l'on est sur cet itinéraire que l'empereur emprunta à son retour de l'Île d'Elbe mais la ville de Digne a fait le choix d'une silhouette noire très reconnaissable.

EN The national road 85, or RN 85, is a French national highway linking the Pont-de-Claix on the A480 to La Saulce in 2015 via Gap and Aubignosc to Barrême via Digne-les-Bains.

Between Grenoble and Vallauris, it follows part of the journey taken by Napoleon I on his return from the island of Elba at the beginning of the Hundred Days.

As a general rule, it is an eagle (symbol of Napoleon) made of marble, metal, stone, indicates that one is on this itinerary that the emperor borrowed on his return from the Island Of Elbe but the city of Digne has made the choice of a black silhouette very recognizable.
