St. James Park is one of London’s eight Royal Parks and covers an area of just over 40 acres. This slightly pentagonal-shaoed park is near Buckingham Palace. It's between The Mall and Birdcage Walk.

St James's Park is the oldest Royal Park in London and is surrounded by three palaces. The most ancient is Westminster, which has now become the Houses of Parliament, St James's Palace and of course, the best known, Buckingham Palace.
Duck Island is a nature reserve for St James's Park bird collection. The Blue Bridge offers spectacular views across St James's Park Lake to Buckingham Palace to the west and Horse Guards Parade, Big Ben and the London Eye towards the east.
