This plaque is located to Colonel Chris Hadfield and is located in Chris Hadfield Park in Milton, Ontario. It honours the first Canadian Space Walk which took place on April 22nd 2001 on STS-100.
In addition to being the First Canadian To Walk in Space, he was also the first Canadian to Operate the Canadarm in orbit in 1995, and later the first Canadian to Command the ISS in 2012. He was also the only Canadian to board Russian space station Mir.
