This beautiful evergreen grows on the lawn of Ponca City's City Hall.

City Hall, at 516 E. Grand, is a beautiful Spanish-influence building. In front of the Hall is Centennial Plaza, with numerous commemorations and memorials to the City, the State, and our country.
This evergreen must stand over 30 ft. tall. Beneath its lower branches is a concrete block with a white granite marker which reads: Living Legacy Tree / Dedicated Dec. 15, 1991 / Bicentennial of the Constitution and Bill of Rights of the United States of America."
Above these words a seal showing "We the People" and a 13-star flag, reads: "U.S. Constitution 1787-1791 / Bicentennial 1987 - 1991."
