From the widen forests of the Geroldsgrüner forest a very special water spring exists here at Langenau. It is a calcium-hydrogen- carbonate acidul and has been known as medicinal water for nearly three hundred years.

The 'Max-Marien-Quelle*' was rebuilted in 1981 and is also served in the Spa Bad Steben. On site are a drinking fountain and a collection gallery. Nice Hiking trails offer access to the Geroldsgrün Forest.
