The entrance to Celestial Gardens is on the west side of Highway 277. You enter onto a local drive named George Deason Drive, which encircles the cemetery. The cemetery is sort of hat-shaped (see aerial photo). The lower "brim" area is as yet unused, but contains a four-foot high brick wall with the name of the cemetery.

The cemetery contains 1092 burials at this time. At the center of the cemetery, this granite war memorial has four concrete walks leading to it from all four directions. The monument is about 9 feet high and 16 feet wide and engraved on both sides. At the top is a circular panel with an eagle, and below this the seal of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and an engraving of the U.S. and Oklahoma flags. Below this on the front, five panels are engraved with the names of veterans, with seals of the Air Force, Army, Navy and Marines on each divider. The top beam is engraved: "In honor of all veterans who served our country."

A shield at the center is engraved: "The people of Cyril dedicate this memorial to represent their gratitude for those who have sacrificed in our country's Armed Forces." "Lest We Forget".

On the back are more names of veterans, and a large bronze plaque which reads: "Celestial Gardens Veterans Area / In memory of those who gave their lives for freedom's cause on land - at sea - and in the air / For God and Country / Hollarn Perry Post No. 283 / Cyril, Oklahoma / 1996
