The cross was established on the 3rd of April, 1773 as a teamwork by stonecutters from Oberdollendorf.
It exists of a foot plate which carries a base with inscription and endowment date. The cross itself carries the sculptural passion signs: Crown of thorns, pierces hands and feet as well as the heart. Atypical for roadside calvaries is the representation of both feet side by side.

The base carries the inscription in a text field:
