Der Bauerngarten an der Bonner Waldau zeigt, wie ökologische und naturnahe Landwirtschaft funktioniert und demonstriert die Vorteile für Mensch und Natur. So werden hier Gemüse, Kräuter und Blumen, besonders auffällig die Sonnenblumen, angepflanzt. Auch ein Wildbienenhotel gehört zum Garten. Insbesondere Kinder sollen hier lernen, woher unser Essen kommt und wie dieses ökologisch sinnvoll angebaut werden kann.

Betrieben wird der Bauerngarten vom Haus der Natur, einem kleinen Naturkundemuseum und Waldinformationszentrum. Der Garten liegt direkt hinter dem Gebäude.

The farmers' garden at the Waldau of Bonn shows how ecological and natural agriculture works and demonstrates the benefits for man and nature. Hence, vegetables, herbs and flowers, especially noticable sunflowers, are planted here. A Wild bee hotel also belongs to the garden. Children in particular should learn here where our food comes from and how it can be produced ecologically worthwhile.

The garden is run by the "Haus der Natur", a small nature museum and forest information center. The garden is directly behind the building.
