The Stenzelberg is a 287-metre-high mountain in the Siebengebirge. It is of volcanic origin and was used as a stone quarry for Latit since the 11th century .
The mountain ridge of the old stone quarry can be reached about a footpath. From there one has a wonderful view of the Rhine Valley with Bonn and Cologne in direction northwest.
