In Boston, near Boston City Hall, is the Dreamland Wax Museum.
The wax museum is located in a building about 50 ft from City Hall on the south side, and near one of the exits for the State Station of the MBTA Orange Line Subway. The museum is in the brick area of the City Hall Plaza. There is parking in a garage about a quarter mile away on Washington Street.
The museum entrance is at the corner of the building. There is a sign in red and gold with "Dreamland" and "Wax Museum." In the windows, some of the wax figures could be seen, including President Abraham Lincoln at the time of visit. Also at the time of visit which was the first official day they were open, the figure of President Kennedy greeted people at the door.
After paying the fee at the desk, you walk down a corridor to the stairs down. All of the Presidents of the United States were featured, with signs about their history. Two of the presidents were otherwise assigned and were missing' from the lineup. Other figures included entertainers (for instance, Elvis, local figure Arthur Fieldler), actors and directors (for example, Clint Eastwood, James Dean, Stephen Spielberg), the British Royal Family, sport figures (for example, Larry Bird, Ray Borque, Tom Brady) and high tech entrepreneurs (Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Mark Zuckerburg).
The whole museum takes about 45 minutes if you don't buzz right through.
