A city boundary marker dating from 1869. It's marked the Parish of Standard Hill.
A half-round post made of cast-iron with a domed top, approx 1m high. Inscribed with the names of the Overseers of the Poor in raised lettering. The boundaries of several parishes were defined in 1869, in connection with collection of Poor Rates.
