Am Hauptplatz von Amstetten steht seit 1980 der neue Sparkassenbrunnen. Früher hatte dort der im 2. Weltkrieg zerstörte Kilian-Brunnen seinen Platz. Den neuen Stadtbrunnen zieren die Wappen der Partnerstädte Alsfeld (D), Amstetten (D), Pergine (I) und Ruelle (F), das Stadtwappen und das Sparkassensymbol.

Auf einer Seite des Brunnens findet sich die Inschrift:
An dieser Stelle stand einst der Kilianbrunnen. Er wurde am 8. Mai 1945 durch russische Fliegerbomben zerstört, und im Jahre 1980 von der Sparkasse der Stadt Amstetten wiedererrichtet.

Since 1980, the new Sparkassenbrunnen (Savings bank fountain) is standing on the main square of Amstetten. Previously, the Kilian Fountain, destroyed in World War II, had its place there.
