The mound and cave is constructed from Karst stones (limerock with holes and pits). The area is shaded by large trees and there are cement benches facing the area. There is a padded alter at the base. The statue of the Virgin Mary is in the cave area at the top. To the left and below is a kneeling woman with hands raised in prayer.
