The 3D sign reads 'Nottingham Playhouse' on the arrow and points across Derby Road down N Circus Street towards the Playhouse and Sky Mirror some 300ft away on Wellington Circus, Nottingham, NG1 5AF.
The sign depicts a representation of the stage, complete with two actors, and behind is the sky mirror that sits outside The Nottingham Playhouse. Although slightly tarnished now, it looks to be made of polished steel.
It makes an interesting change from the standard roadside direction signs.
