VFW - Robert E. Bottles - Post 2673 received the "National Outstanding Community Service Award" in 2008, 2011, 2012 and 2015. These honor plaques are displayed in front of the post.

Post 2673 provides services and support to local veterans and veterans visiting the area. Social events are offered throughout the month for veterans and their families and guests are welcome.

An ambitious undertaking by artist Scott LoBaido in 2015 to paint an American Flag on a VFW or American Legion for each of the fifty states.

Scott LoBaido personally choose the VFW in Cody for his contribution to the state of Wyoming. He painted this mural, Stars and Stripes, at no cost to the VFW Post 2673. This vibrant display will last for many years and each flag is meant as a gift to those who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
