Bruce Lockey '60 Memorial Sundial is a 4' high concrete block with a metal gnomon and hour marking indicated by incised lines. Around the four sides of the sundial is inscribed:

Bruce Philip Lockey, from Fort Worth, TX, was a television/radio major who graduated from Ithaca College in 1960. At the time of his death, Bruce Lockey was sports director at station KCRA radio-tv in Sacamento, CA. He died after a brief illness on July 26, 1966. November of that year his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Lockey, wrote the college asking for suggestions for a memorial. After consultation a sundial was agreed upon because Bruce had always loved the sun and the outdoors. The memorial sundial was unveiled by two television/radio majors and dedicated in April 1969.
