A single handed clock of around 1680 built by clockmaker Richard Roe, also Rowe, (c.1640 – 1718) of Epperstone, one of the earliest clockmakers in Nottinghamshire.

The clock face seems to be in need of some restoration. Constructed of black painted timber, with what may have once been gilded roman numerals around the edge. It has just a single hour hand by which to tell the time.

Judged as not working at time of visit. Either exactly right just twice a day, or always 1 hour fast.
