Heart in the Park is a history park located in downtown Tonkawa. Its focal point is a 45 foot labyrinth shaped as a heart. Around its perimeter are 100 blocks documenting points of interest in Tonkawa's history. The park is a 2007 Centennial project celebrating Oklahoma's 100 years as a state.
The coordinates shown are for a paver display near the labyrinth, which contains colored concrete pavers which represent donors for the construction of this park. Large pavers depict a barn, and a heart with a stalk of wheat.
Throughout the park, almost all of the walks are paved with donated blocks. At the site of the Land Run of 1893 memorial, a portion of the pavers were donated by families of the Early Settlers who settled this area.
