"Like these great majestic elephants, Jim lived with a quiet and sturdy strength, respecting the earth and sharing the warmth of his nature with all creatures and beings he befriended along the path of his life's jouney - saving a special kindness and joy for his closest campaions and for his best pals; his partner/mate and their beloved labrador. A life of many challenges, but one that was full of goodness and happiness. At 56, Jim died of complications from AIDS, in the early morning of November he left us as he had lived, with indomintable courage and generous heart."
