FR Construite au début du XVIème siècle, probablement par les moines de Cluny qui possédaient un prieuré à Mirabeau, elle est appelée également Notre-Dame-des-Grenouillères. Au XVIIème siècle, elle devint église paroissiale au détriment d'une autre église appelée Saint-Jean. En 1712 cependant, l'évêque remarqua une autre chapelle, Notre-Dame-du-Bon-Secours, qu'il suggéra d'ériger en paroisse. Ce n'est qu'en 1884 que son souhait se réalisa : le Conseil Municipal du 24 août décida de transférer le titre d'église paroissiale à la chapelle Notre-Dame-du-Bon-Secours, dans le hameau du Riou.

Dès lors l'ancienne église fut abandonnée et se dégrada peu à peu. Aujourd'hui en ruines, elle ne comporte plus que le clocher carré et trois murs du choeur. Celui-ci est encore abrité par une belle voûte en croisée d'ogives, et conserve également quelques restes de fresques.

En 1992, l'Association de sauvegarde des édifices anciens de Mirabeau restaura les toitures du chœur et du clocher, afin de préserver cette construction encore appelée "la vieille paroisse".
EN Built at the beginning of the 16th century, probably by the monks of Cluny who owned a priory at Mirabeau, it is also called Notre-Dame-des-Grenouillères. In the 17th century, it became a parish church at the expense of another church called Saint-Jean. In 1712, however, the bishop noticed another chapel, Notre-Dame-du-Bon-Secours, which he suggested as a parish. It was not until 1884 that his wish was fulfilled: the Municipal Council of August 24 decided to transfer the title of parish church to the chapel of Notre-Dame-du-Bon-Secours in the hamlet of Riou.

From then on the old church was abandoned and degraded little by little. Nowadays in ruins, it has only the square bell tower and three walls of the choir. This one is still sheltered by a beautiful crossed vault of ribs, and also preserves some remains of frescoes.

In 1992, the Association for the Safeguarding of Ancient Buildings in Mirabeau restored the roofs of the choir and the bell tower, in order to preserve this building, also known as the "old parish church".
