Jörn Pfab (* 6. März 1925 in Hamburg; † 14. September 1986 in Hamburg) was a sculptor from North Germany who used bronze, stone, stainless steel and plastic for his work.
Jörn Pfab was born in Hamburg, where in 1941 he completed school with the Oberrealschule. From 1941 to 1944 he completed a stonemasonry, which he completed with the journeyman's test. From 1944 to 1946 followed war service and American captivity, from which he fled 1946. From 1946 to 1952 he studied sculpture with Edwin Scharff at the Landeskunstschule Hamburg. There he set up a bronze casting workshop together with his friend Fritz Fleer. His early work includes figurative statuettes and portraits.
Later he turned to the abstract steel sculptures. He found his motifs in the structure of plants and in stereometry.
Pfab died of the inhalation of the dust produced during the polishing of his works.
