Known locally as the Fabyan Windmill is located in the Fabyan Forest Preserve on the east side of the Fox River north of Batavia, Illinois.

Originally built between between 1850 and 1860 by Louis Blackhaus, a German craftsman, the Dutch Mill was originally located along York Road near Oak Brook. In 1914 it was purchased by Colonel George Fabyan and moved to his estate, what is now Fabyan Forest Preserve. The Fabyan windmill is one of the best example of an authentic Dutch windmill in the United States. The windmill underwent a complete restoration ending in 2005. The restoration required a trip to the Netherlands for authentic timber and gear work. The grinding stones were also restored so the operating mill can again grind flour. The mill is open for tours Saturday and Sunday from 1 - 4 p.m., May 15 - October 15.
