The Horny Toad Café & Bar is at 5812 N I-35E, Denton, TX. Phone is 940-383-2150. They offer up what they call "contemporary Texas comfort", with a really good menu full of old favorites, but sometimes with a twist, like bacon-wrapped smoked meatloaf. You'll find salads, sandwiches, burgers (including Kobe beef burgers and venison bologna), as well as all-natural steaks, and their signature dish, chicken fried steak (or chicken). They have soft drinks and a full bar, along with a good selection of wine and beer, which includes some of the local craft brews. If you've got room after your meal, the Whiskey Buttermilk Pie is terrific, but a lot of folks go for the Banana Split Pie.
Be on the lookout for their lunch and drink specials. They have a small children's menu, and on Sundays, they serve brunch from 11 AM to 3 PM. Most of the regular menu is available, and they add a few breakfast items, while cutting you a deal on mimosas and Bloody Marys.
