This website (
visit link) has an additional photo and informs us:
"Sulphide Spring, filled by dark, acidic, simmering water, is situated at the south side of the Geyser Hill Group, by the junction of the loop trail through this area. The pool is lined by grass on the far side and white earth on the near side, crossed by the run-off channel which flows under the boardwalk into the Firehole River. The spring is named on account of the hydrogen sulphide it emits."
