Der ionische Tempel ist ein Rundpavillon im Ensamble des Georgiums.
Das Georgium bezeichnet eine Parkanlage welche 1780 von Prinz Johann Georg und Fürsten Leopold III. Friedrich Franz von Anhalt-Dessau in Auftrag gegeben wurde. Beauftragt wurde der Architekt und Architekturtheoretiker Friedrich Wilhelm von Erdmannsdorff.
Der kreisrunde Tempel steht auf einem Podest von 3 Stufen. Die 10 weißen Säulen und die weiße Traufe werden nach oben hin mit einem Kuppeldach abgeschlossen, welches ein Blechdach ziert.

The Ionian Temple is a circular pavilion in the Ensamble of Georgium.
The Georgium refers to a park which was built in 1780 by Prince Johann Georg and Prince Leopold III. Friedrich Franz of Anhalt-Dessau. The architect and architectural theorist Friedrich Wilhelm von Erdmannsdorff was commissioned.
The circular temple stands on a pedestal of 3 steps. The 10 white columns and the white eaves are completed with a top-hat roof, which adorns a metal roof.
