The open-air theater in Ötigheim, Germany, Baden-Württemberg is the biggest open-air theater in Germany. It is called 'Freilichtbühne Ötigheim' and offers 4,000 seats.
The open-air stage of the theater is huge. It has a size of 200x60 meters. The scenery reaches a height of up to 18 meters. Sometimes there are up to 400 actors at the same time on stage - together with horses and coaches.
The theater is managed by the local club 'Volksschauspiele Ötigheim e.V.'. Already in 1906 the first performances took place on today's location.
